Special thanks to Prof Marcus Ong for the opportunity to look into heat injury management in lower resource areas from a new role including mentorship of Duke-NUS Medical School juniors. It has been a great learning experience working with our Indian partners, especially Dr Rao’s team, as well as visiting the various Hyderabad EDs in between.
Our poster was featured in the 2026 ERC Congress in Rotterdam. Proud of our study team that prepared for and visited Hyderabad in March this year, scouring through data and interviewing EMS personnel to help identify gaps and potential solutions to better manage heat injuries.
